Review on Proster LCR Meter - Multimeter Tester for Capacitance, Resistance, Inductance Measurement with LCD Display and Over-range Indicator by Chris Litton

Really great gauge, relatively inexpensive, easy to use, decent accuracy. A month ago I would have given this a four star rating, but my experience of accidentally hitting a high voltage line has shown that the meter is missing fuses on the input lines, meaning that overvoltage will destroy the circuit board traces and render it unusable. Attempting to repair traces on the board is not possible due to the construction of the counter. While I appreciate the low cost, it seems to me that almost every gauge I've used has been subjected to some sort of overload to protect itself. As a result, the latter does not consider it a disposable item worthy of its price.
