As with 3D printing in general, PETG requires some trial and error to get a satisfactory print. Knock Sunlu, petg needs some work to get it right) I'm finally very happy with my prints and want to share my settings and what works for me. 245c - Countertop temperature: 75c - Nozzle diameter: 0.06. **that made a big difference for me** -Print Speed: 40mm/s omnidirectional **another difference** -Retract Settings: Speed 40mm/s, Distance 4mm, Stroke 0.16, Brushes Enabled -Z-Offset : I do it manually. Petg seems to take up a bit more space than pla when printing. I'm trying to get a nice "squishy" layer with the pla, but I need some extra clearance to glue the petg to the base: I use a pei on a flexible spring steel plate, magnetic base. I use lots of hairspray and add small fringes depending on the model. Holds up well and breaks out immediately with no problems or damage to the panel. I still have strings but there are so few that I can't complain. It took me 0.5kg of strings to find what works best for me. Also, I found Petg brutal on cheap softbaits, be prepared to throw your bait away afterwards - some of my frustrations were there and once I stopped using the same lure between Pla and Petg it all cleared up. This thread is of great value, very very happy with it. I've ordered more and also used these (Sunlu)pla+, they're not the best on the market but for everyday printing and for the price you can't go wrong.
