This is an easy fix for a loose or stuck ignition cylinder. It's easy to replace (usually a push pin) and looks good for years of use. This should also fix ignition link issues, including alarm malfunctions. The only downside is that you can no longer use your original key as it is a brand new cylinder including the key holder. On the other hand, the cost is much less than buying a "genuine" Ford replacement, which actually requires you to reinstall the toggle switch on your original key. Also, using this replacement shouldn't make much of a difference if you're using the remote to open and lock doors. You really won't feel uncomfortable having two (separate) sets of keys for your car. All in all it is a very good after sale replacement ignition lock cylinder.
