Review on πŸ’» USB C to Ethernet Adapter - Enhanced Connectivity for Thunderbolt 3 and Type C Devices - Gray by Tyrone Lee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't know why the review asks about the Wi-Fi signal, it's Ethernet only

Pros: Well made and durable, it's lasted so long after months of use. The short cable is solid and does not get very hot even after 12 hours of operation, only slightly warm to the touch. Others that I've bought get very hot and then often have connection problems. this is not. Cons: May have issues with remote VNC connections. I have occasionally attempted to connect to a computer via VNC using this adapter and the adapter would sometimes go into a suspended state where it would not accept a Wake-on-LAN command, thus preventing me from connecting via VNC with could connect to the computer. My workaround for this was to simply set a "wake up" schedule on the computer that wakes it up at 7:55 am every day, 5 minutes before I need to connect remotely, and that too wakes the adapter, allowed a VNC connection. I would highly recommend this adapter to anyone who wants consistent Ethernet speed (my speed on this adapter averages 922MB/s and I use Cox's 1GB Ethernet (Gigablast) as my ISP so I'm very happy.
