We bought a house and wanted to replace an unknown brand of door handles with Schlage which required enlarging the hole through which the handle assembly fits. It's pretty hard to do, and if you mess it up, you'll ruin your door. So you use a hole enlarger to keep the center of the hole right where it should be. To do this, use two different hole saws on the hole reamer. The doors I drilled were reinforced with metal and these Bosch saws went through them. It worked like a charm to enlarge the doorknob hole.
