It's getting hot, better lighting for less money.
This light gets too hot to use on my amphibious tank. It's also too bright and not dimmable. For a few bucks less I bought COODIA Dimmable Remote Controlled LED Light for Aquarium Lighting and found it much better. There is no night mode, but it is dimmable and does not heat up at all. If desired, you can install on the tank. There is also a remote control! I wish I had seen this light before jumping on this one. 2 stars because it's a work light but I wouldn't recommend it.
