Very impressed with this riding shoe price. I'm a beginner and was looking for shoes at a reasonable price. I would have just donned my tall vans, but after speaking to a local shop I "woke up" with the idea of better leg protection. This store only had $170 racing style boots or shoes that didn't suit my riding style (cbr500r). I looked around and saw a lot of boots but was more interested in a sportier look. This shoe had what I needed, form and function. When I received this shoe, I immediately noticed that the box it came in seemed pretty light. I almost started thinking that I was robbed and there was nothing haha. The sector provides ample protection in critical areas, yet is flexible enough to be worn off the bike all day. It looks very narrow in the photos, but my flat foot suits my flat arch well. I wear Nike and Adidas in size 9.5 and they fit me perfectly. I don't like too much space between my finger and the finger box, just enough to wiggle the piglets from time to time. With this shoe I can do it without any problems. What I never thought about was the clutch. These boots have very good sipes (small lines often found on tires to improve overall grip on wet or snowy roads). The gum is sticky but tough. All in all, I'm glad I have them. Of course I could try something else, but that's exactly what I've had in sports riding shoes personally.
