They are a handy size for easy connection/disconnection of cables e.g. B. a trolling motor. However, the wire holding the plastic caps tends to stretch, causing the caps to fall off. If you lose caps, the connections will corrode. They work well and allow you to conveniently disconnect power from the trolling motor. However, I would suggest either never separating them or making sure you apply dialect grease liberally to them to avoid corrosion. I use them on a 24v 80# thrust Motorguide trolling motor mounted on a 14ft 6ft service boat.
