Just doesn't work. Not worth your time and money. I say "poor design" in my video, but a better description would be "poor production". Compared to the previous tailgate handle, the metal mechanism used to pull the handle differs from the plastic lever, which doesn't pull the driver's side rod far enough to open the tailgate. As you can see, if I didn't have that slop, dragging it up with my finger would work. The spring that wraps around the pin at the pivot point may not be large enough, or it may be missing a washer or two - that's all I can guess.
