Lousy quality control - doesn't even fit

This is supposed to be the correct filter for a 2013 Ford Escape 2.0 engine. Looks identical until you realize it's about 1/8 inch longer. By inserting it into the lower half of the housing, the housing is deformed so much that it is not possible to reinsert the upper half of the housing. I would have sent it back if I hadn't waited. more than 30 days to try to install it.
