Poor wireless range for whole house and Mesh Wi-Fi systems

I know this is an outdoor unit but I couldn't get more than 10 feet from it before my signal went dead. I use Unifi all the time but I never plugged in this box. It works for what you need it for, but it doesn't have a very good range. But speeds are good when you're in range. with 120-200 max max. But if you've never installed Unifi routers and a hotspot, I don't recommend them. They require a bit of technical know-how. or you have to hire someone to install them for you.
