So far so good with networking products

Ordered this 16x4 modem to replace an outdated Motorola SB6121 that recently needed a reboot. Our service through Comcast is only 60 Mbps, but the price difference between this modem and other 8x4 models was minimal. I have to say Comcast made it easy to install a new modem, at least in my area. I just plugged it in, waited for the registration page to open, received an SMS with a 6-digit code, entered the code and the service started working again after restarting the modem. It was not necessary to enter the MAC address. The modem status page shows 16 associated downlinks, all with good signal-to-noise ratio and power levels. The uplinks are also working with good performance. The modem might run a little warmer than the old SB6121, but it's not hot. No noticeable strange smells as some have reported. I will update this review after a few weeks of using the modem. So far so good.——————/——-Update - 06.09.2018 There are no problems with this modem. Warms, does not warm. I accessed the configuration page (192.168.100.1 in a browser window) and disabled the blue LEDs. . The blue LEDs are incredibly bright. They also indirectly illuminated a dark room. Green not so much. You can also turn off all LEDs except the power indicator if you want.
