Very accurate, fast and multi-directional display combine to make a very good thermometer with instant reading. I was in the instant read market and about to buy Thermapro instant read when I found this inkbird. It has all the features of the more expensive brand but costs more than half. It has rechargeable lithium batteries and turns on and off by simply opening or closing the probe. The display also rotates based on your orientation, which is nice since you can't always check the temperature of something in a comfortable position. The display is also backlit and very bright. I would recommend this instant read thermometer to any home cook for any home cook. If you want your steaks to be perfect, or you just want to make sure your chicken or pork is at a safe temperature, look no further.
