The length of the USB cable is important when using 2.5 amps

Great product for the price, my problem with Raspberry Pi 3 was getting yellow flashes. My power supply was capable of delivering 2.5 amps, but found that the USB cable's caliber and length could not support the current drawn. So I bought this combo and my problem was gone.
