At first I didn't know if this would solve my sagging gate problem. I usually had to lift the gate to unlock it before opening. So I thought I'd try. It seemed much better and more durable than the cable cord which was around $20. I settled on an adjustable 6 foot brace. The 64" was slightly longer (about an inch or two longer than I needed). The first one I received had damaged packaging like it had been dropped. When I opened it up, the part of the thread was on the clevis on which the adjustment was made badly bent and unusable. Poor handling of the box and they sent it to me anyway without checking for damage. So I sent it back and got a replacement. The second one was ok. Installation was easy. The adjustment was easy.Now my gate works as it should and I still have a lot of threads to adjust if it sags again.I smeared the threads with blue threadlocker to keep them from loosening.I also used a light coat of clear spray paint sprayed to protect gear (others have found them to rust) hopefully this will keep them from rusting I recommend this item easy install.
