I bought this to stream from an IPTV service provider. After using it for a while, I found that the refresh isn't smooth in fast-moving situations (like watching a hockey game while the camera pans up and down on the ice). So I plugged this device into one HDMI port and then my Fire Stick 4K into another HDMI port to compare the two. The X96+ had stuttering/stuttering in fast motion situations, while the Fire Stick had a smooth visual. If you just want a streaming device, I'd go with the Fire Stick 4K instead of this half-price device.
