Fitted all the holes in front and behind the gasket with silicone grease, also removed 6 screws under and in front of the manifold. So I siliconized the whole panel with black Permatex caulk tubing to make sure it couldn't leak. I forgot to pull out the pipe in the middle of the valley and make an o-ring, but I'll take care of that later. Air to blow off debris that might get into the holes in the coil pack and cause problems before removing the manifold. I cleaned the mating surface on the head with a wheel roller and sandpaper + O'Reilly brake cleaner. You can also use a razor blade or brake cleaner. and 320 grit sandpaper. It is also recommended to clean the intake ports with brake cleaner and shop towels after removing the manifold. You can discard the foam box under the manifold if it has one and clear the galley underneath to allow water etc to exit the back of the hole plug. I also used a fuel line release tool to hold the injectors in place. When removing injectors, you must use dielectric grease on the injector o-rings. I also recommend replacing the injector o-rings if you remove them. Watch the exchange video to get an idea of how to do it yourself. I usually just tighten, crack, tighten the screws a little before removing them to loosen them. I also like to warm up the engine to make removing the bolts easier.
