I rarely write reviews and this will be brief. So far I've used the snowpack on two blizzards. It worked very well for both of them. I obviously don't have enough time to discuss durability. My only suggestion for potential improvement would be to add two more magnets, one for each long edge midway between the existing magnets. UPDATE MARCH 2017. This case works very well. It doesn't deflate as some reviews suggest, snow and ice slide off easily. Here's the PROBLEM. As other reviewers have written, MAGNETS SCRATCH CAR PAINT! The magnets are rusted and the rust penetrates the fabric. Said rust left obvious scratches on my van! That's a shame because the lid isn't expensive and is otherwise well made for the price.
