I'm glad some of the other reviewers had good experiences with this Septekon webcam. My experience wasn't that good. First, the Septekon webcam doesn't attach very securely to my laptop screen. If I bump the laptop lightly, it moves or falls. Secondly, this webcam is advertised as being able to rotate horizontally as well as up and down. But it cannot be rotated horizontally. Of course you can turn the computer to the left or right, maybe that's what was meant? Third, the Septekon's image quality is only marginally better than the webcam built into our 2015 MacBook Air. Well, for the price it's not bad, but many of the reviewers here said that the Septekon has excellent video quality, so maybe my expectations were a bit high and I was disappointed. Fourth, the Septekon webcam doesn't seem to work with newer computers with USB-C inputs when using the correct adapter. When I ordered the Septekon I knew it had a USB-A connector, an old style that's still very common. I was hoping I could use it with our new MacBook Pro, which only has USB-C ports. I have several different USB-A to USB-C adapters that work great when I connect other devices like external hard drives, printers, speakers, etc. The Septekon did not work with our MacBook Pro. I tried different adapters, none worked. Adapters are correct. This is very bad. Most MacBooks from 2016 and later have USB-C ports instead of the older USB-A ports. Many new Windows laptops too. The Septekon webcam works well with a 2015 MacBook, not a newer one. This is very bad.
