These carpets appear to be of the highest quality. Got them for the kitchen. On the surface it is very comfortable to stand in shoes, but at first it seemed a bit uncomfortable to stand without shoes. I was surprised that after a few days my bare feet got used to the heavily textured surface. Yes, deep contours are a bit more difficult to clean with a broom, but simply line them up with the indentation where the particle is and give it a good click to remove it from the carpet. Also nothing. This type of carpet can be taken outside and washed with a hose, or if it is very dirty, it can be washed with a car brush first. Four stars because of bad chemical smell for two weeks. Be sure to choose a color that you really like. I have other rugs like this (rubber based rug) that have lasted over 20 years.
