I bought this adapter as a second adapter because I wanted to charge several devices at the same time (via multiple sockets and adapters). I've had the Targus APK01US for over a decade now and have been very happy with it on many trips. I figured it would be better to try something else with this product rather than buy another Targus. My purchase was based on reviews for this product. It's solid overall, but as some others have pointed out in the two round pin Europe and Asia adaptation, it struggles to stay in a 220V outlet. This is based on using multiple outlets in different locations (hotels, offices, airports, etc.). .) and 110 different input sockets (laptop, iPad, iPhone, power supply). In most cases, the adapter will start to loosen and you'll have the "pleasure" of seeing the power flow when you plug it back in. I made sure the sockets are tight (not loose). I think it's the design and the weight of the product plus plug is too big for the outlet. I've also tried it two ways, with more weight under the end cap than over it. Same result. On the plus side, it didn't get hot like some other products. Needless to say it will retire after one ride and I've already bought another Targus. Update - 8/1/18: After posting this review I received the following email from the seller. I will not sell! We will offer you a full refund. But could you do us a favor by ruining the customer experience with that item you left online? I know that may sound a bit strange. The thing is, as a small seller, we sell on Amazon and serve for you, and we need a good reputation, we need to make money to support our children and our family, a simple negative experience of usage will have a lot of bad impact on ours Shop.
