I bought these pins specifically for maternity and newborn hats that I make. I used a double set. My first cap on them went so smoothly I couldn't believe it. If using the single needle method, place a rubber stopper on the end as you pour. When I get to the top, I turn my double glasses and call it a day. It takes some getting used to, just give it a little time and you'll get the hang of it quickly.
