I purchased this because I've used Hatchbox's regular PLA before (White, Black, Red and Blue) and really liked it. This "Performance" PLA is NOT the same as their regular product. This filament is significantly softer and extrudes quite differently. It's taken a lot of tweaking to get it to print consistently. My Ender 3 w/ Gulf-Coast end upgrade jammed and started coiling raw filament out the side of the extruder motor (between the bowden tube and the gear) several times while figuring it out. I don't think I've had any other jamming issues with this end since I installed it.You will want to use about 50% shorter retractions than normal (I had to drop from 6.5-7mm (normal range for an Ender) to 3-4mm). You will also want to run it a little cooler than you normally would other PLAs. Mine seems to like 190-195 for this material when it's usually around 205.With all that said, the material's behavior is consistent; you can confidently estimate what a settings change will do.Once you figure out the nuances of the material, it's nice looking stuff. It just may take a couple tries.
