Not a very successful purchase

The first problem was that the device was not charging. When trying to set it up I had to keep it plugged into a power source but the device still said the battery is low and would turn itself off every 5 seconds! After that I could no longer receive a satellite signal. I thought maybe the area, but no. I drove from Atlanta to Orlando and never got a signal. I usually read reviews before buying, but not this time.
