The 4.3 inch LCD was my main concern when I bought this digital microscope. I wasn't sure if it would be big enough, if it would be of poor quality, or if it would interfere with my soldering. This was based on the reviews I had read about these new digital microscopes. And I don't like looking at the computer screen when I'm soldering SMD (Surface Mount Device) parts to the board. I was also concerned that it might wobble during use. All my fears were dispelled when I tried it. This device met the advertised specifications. I took the attached photos of the Arduino UNO board in 10MegaPixal and 1080P mode and they all turned out great. It turns out that they delay the time it takes you to press the "take photo" button a bit until the photo is actually taken, which really helped avoid a blurry image from a little movement. If you look closely you will see that I used x1, x2 and x4 on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th images. The only two issues I had with it was that when you turn on the microscope instead of image mode, it shows up in video mode. . However, this can be easily fixed by pressing the "D" button on the front panel. Another problem I encountered is that there is no detailed guide on how to get through the menus and how to change modes. But it only took me a few minutes to figure it all out. Very easy to use. The kids could probably figure it out quicker than me! Overall I would give this digital oscilloscope a 10. Why? As I'm 62 my eyesight isn't what it used to be and I've easily got it to surface solder and it works great! If I need a bigger screen, I can always display it on my monitor. The 4.3 inch HD display looks really good. One thing I've done is place the base of the microscope on a raised piece of wood so my accessories can slide underneath to hold the board I'm working on. Stabilizing the camera a little more than just sitting on my bench also helped.
