Review on Seagate IronWolf 4TB HDD ST4000VN008 by Mateusz Trzmiel ᠌
The product is terrible, much below my expectations.
Bought two ST4000VN008 for home NAS use - home photo/video storage, raid0. Writing and reading is very rare. After 3 years and 1 month, reallocated sectors began to appear on both disks almost simultaneously. Two WD Purples have been spinning side by side in the video surveillance server for 4 years now, which have passed through themselves 15 times more data (769921 GB) and at least henna. Seagate - stable "well done". Just as 10 years ago they did not know how to make discs, they still have not learned how to do it now. I will never buy a Seagate again.

- Both drives died a month after the end of the warranty period (3 years 2 months)
