Review on Navigate with Confidence: 🧭 Magellan Triton 300 Waterproof Hiking GPS by Pete Brown

I was trying to update my Magellan Explorist 210 (discontinued model) with the latest firmware on the website. I erased everything on the device and ended up with a brick. I emailed Magellan asking what could be done. They responded quickly within 12 hours and placed an order to REPLACE this obsolete device WITH NO WARRANTY. Here's the amazing part, WITHIN 8 DAYS I received a replacement unit at my door, a Magellan Triton 300 (comparable to the Explorist 210). ). REPLACEMENT WAS FREE! So far I like the graphics and ergonomics. For the price, this device promises a lot of value for money. Battery life is nowhere near as good as my Garmin Etrex Vista Hcx, but this unit costs three times as much. Incidentally, since last year, Magellan has greatly improved the performance of the Triton line through firmware updates. I'll see how the mapping software I ordered from the Nat Geo website works before giving a full review. Has Magellan's customer service improved? My experience tells me it is so.
