I can't even count how many toasters I've bought over the years. I've tried very expensive ones, the ones with a glass facade (crumbs get caught in the glass, and it also stains), four-layer, two-layer - as many as you like, I've tried. I stumbled across it and thought what the heck, it can't be worse than what I bought before. It's been about a month and I'm very, very satisfied. If you choose position 2, your toast will be ready in about a minute. Lightly toasted white bread. The toaster is very nice. Cons: The slot for bread is not very wide for some reason. When you put a donut in, you have to push it down at the same time as the plunger goes down. Also, the controls are really hard to read. But overall, this is one of the best toasters I've bought so far.
