Description of 🍞 Russell Hobbs TRL9300GYR 2-Slice Glass Accent Long Toaster: Sleek Silver & Stainless Steel Design

Long Toaster - The extended design occupies a narrow spot on your countertop, allowing for easy toasting of long cuts of bread and side-by-side toasting of smaller slices. Removable Warming Rack - This wire rack attaches to the top of the toaster, allowing for easy warming of buns, pastries, and rolls. Remove for regular toasting. Lift & Look - Monitor the progress of toasting without canceling the heating cycle. Three Functions - The Bagel function toasts the cut side and warms the bottom side of bagels. The Frozen setting adjusts toasting to achieve results identical to fresh bread. Cancel ends toasting. Variable Browning Control - Select the level of doneness you prefer, from 1 (light) to 6 (dark).

Not a very safe product.

Should have read all the reviews. I am posting this because I purchased this product in December and it poses a fire hazard. We haven't used it every day and it doesn't work properly. We clinked glasses on the upstairs counter and smelled burned, the inside turned really red for no reason so we passed out. i want to return it

Thumbs down don't buy

I had high hopes for this toaster but it just can't toast food evenly no matter what. The bagel setting is cool, the frozen food setting is cool - thought it would actually help toast things evenly, but not the cubes. I toasted two frozen waffles this morning. One came out burnt, the other was raw on one side and barely roasted on the other. I gave her many chances, tried different combinations, but it just sucks. Also the oil warmer felt cool but the oil just melted everywhere. I wish I could…

Stylish toaster, suitable for ovens and toasters

This is one pretty sexy toaster if there is such a thing. I like having an oblong slot for a large piece of sourdough or French bread. It doesn't take up much countertop space. Live looks even better. This purchase is an upgrade for me on one of the old base toaster models. I've looked at all the really fancy toasters that cost $100-$200 and I just couldn't justify paying that amount for a box whose only function is to toast bread. This is Cray Cray. But I feel like this toaster definitely…

Worst toaster I have ever owned

I liked my previous toaster with a similar profile so I bought this one. If you put two slices of bread in it, one will burn and the other will not toast. I can't set my preferred toast level and if I select the same level multiple times I have no idea if I'll get burned or pale. When I smell burning I have to look for the popup button because it's hidden in the middle of other buttons. The symbols on the keys are also somewhat incomprehensible. In other words, I hate this toaster, apart from…

Attractive and efficient

We have replaced another brand toaster which broke down in less than a year; Revain helped us get our money back on the original. Although we're not familiar with the Russell Hobbs brand, we like the horizontal format of this toaster for our workspace. It's worked great so far, and there are a few easy-to-learn settings that are clearly labeled on the front panel. There is also a removable warming rack, ideal for reheating croissants and muffins without microwave or baking. I'm usually a fan of

Tough lightweight!

I bought this toaster almost a year ago, mainly because of its smoothness and features. Although it looked nice, it was very light and fragile. At first, however, I was pleased with the toast and its ability to handle long slices of bread and only toast the cut side of the bagels. However, over time it became less and less reliable. The center of the "toast" is not toasted, and giving it more time will either burn the toast, or get the toasting you want in the center, burning all the edges. In…

Toast Fast - Small Appliances

I can't even count how many toasters I've bought over the years. I've tried very expensive ones, the ones with a glass facade (crumbs get caught in the glass, and it also stains), four-layer, two-layer - as many as you like, I've tried. I stumbled across it and thought what the heck, it can't be worse than what I bought before. It's been about a month and I'm very, very satisfied. If you choose position 2, your toast will be ready in about a minute. Lightly toasted white bread. The toaster is…

Nice, but the toast is unevenly browned.

When I replaced my 30 year old skinny toaster from The Mean Lean Toasting Machine (which is no longer made and which I really liked), I was looking for a shape that would fit my already crowded countertop, the flexibility to let me toast all breads and bagels, and of course, predictable, consistent and EVEN toasting. I've never had toast with "zebra stripes" on it. Well, unfortunately, this machine completely misses the most important criterion: good toast. Not only does it have to be discarded

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No productivity

Fantastic toaster on toaster

I've spent way too much time learning about toasters but it was worth it because Russell Hobbs is a fantastic toaster. It makes great toast, is easy to use, very attractive (especially in a modern sleek kitchen), the defroster alternative works perfectly and takes up very little space. This jumper is so powerful that the rack literally jumps out of the grooves and almost falls on the counter. So don't risk your hands to remove the bread from the slot. I particularly like that it handles longer…
