Review on Centoco 700-106 Round Wooden Toilet Seat, Heavy Duty Molded Wood With Centocore Technology, Bone by Noel Schmits

Plastic-feeling: my feedback

I made a video and took photos of this elongated toilet seat for you to see the details. What I like:The seat is attractive.Fits the toilet well.Attaches easily with two provided plastic screws and nuts. You can use either a large flat-head screwdriver or a Phillips head (+) to attach the seat.Underneath the seat has 4 support nubs (or "feet”) to support the toilet seat. I’ve read reviews of OTHER toilet seats that cracked easily—reviewers of those OTHER seats complained they had only 2 support nubs. Hopefully since this one has 4, it won’t crack so easily. The price was just over $20 including the delivery—that is a bargain! What I don’t like:The toilet seat is "molded wood” but it feels very plasticy. Not as bad as some actual plastic toilet seats I have seen, but a lot like plastic. I have other white wood toilet seats in my house, and they feel like wood. This one does not.Overall, I am happy to replace the old toilet seat with this one conveniently delivered to my door, and for this great price. This toilet seat is in my finished basement, so it’s fine—but if I was replacing the one that most guests use in the main floor power room, I would choose a seat that does not feel this much like plastic.I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that my review helped you!

Pros
  • How do you review a toilet seat? It works, I don't fall in the toilet etc.
Cons
  • The round shape may not be as comfortable as an elongated seat
