Review on Yale Assure Lock SL - Keyless Touchscreen Door Lock in Black by Reginald Sealy

i have had this lock for almost a year now and it is fine but not as good as one would hope. First, just spend the extra cash and get an upgraded linked lock. Without them, the thing is really pretty dumb. You enter numbers and it opens. Technology barely up to date. That's all. Also annoying is that if you linger in the door or put your hand near the panel while closing the door, the latch will pop open and knock the damn door frame out as the door closes. My frame is permanently dented because this has happened dozens of times. I'll get a metal plate for that spot on the frame and hope not to damage the lock itself. Finally, the keyboard can be a bit finicky if you're not slow in typing numbers. But it's securely locked, eliminating the need to carry a key. So 3 stars for that.
