Review on Kuchenprofi Stainless Steel Poultry Scissors – Professional Grade with 5-Inch Blade by Richard Singleton

Very strong, well-made scissors. Cut chicken thigh bones. I use them to make raw chicken to feed my dogs. Two parts can be disassembled for easy cleaning. The only weak point is the spring - it's very strong, but if you spread the scissors too far they come out on one side. The other end is fixed. Then if you don't realize it's out and you squeeze the scissors, it can bend or deform the spring. Mine isn't right now, but doesn't cause any particular problems. But I'm not sure how you would replace the spring as it might be hard to find and one end is somehow attached inside. If spring had lasted a little longer, this would not have happened. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But I've tried other bird shears that only lasted a few months and had broken parts that couldn't be repaired. 05/28/16: These just broke - the bolt was cut off. Three years of hard work cutting bones! Just ordered a new one. You can't be without this durable tool that gets the job done.
