I was packing my travel bags and there was a situation where I wanted to put something in the bag but I didn't have space. I've seen bags with extendable side baskets and when this one showed up I wanted that so I decided to give it a try. The first thing that struck me was how much space there was. 35L increases the size of my camping bag and if I take it and the handlebar bag, all my camping gear fits in it. It fits the everyday gear I wanted to take with me that I already had in my other bag, even without the side baskets, which is great when I want to carry extra items. They also seem to align internally, so I'm guessing they might be good for food or cold drinks. Maybe not something soggy, but if you're buying something like groceries or carrying around 6 packs, it shouldn't make matters worse. The bag is equipped with a rain cover to protect it from rain outside. Another great benefit is the handle and strap. So when I go somewhere, I just have to take it off and carry it on my shoulder or in my hand. The size is ideal for cameras, flashes and small tripods. There's extra room if you want to add some padding or just slip another bag into the bag. Can also make a great backpack bag and can hold pretty much anything I need and I can just take it off on the spot. Products were my first inspiration and I'm sure it will become a necessity at some point. Only thing to note is that the back pocket is short for my larger water bottle, although this might work if you have a dimple in the middle (it might as well, my stand flexes in that area too). Might be perfect for a mug, mug, glass or camping mug, and it closes with a drawstring, but larger bottles may need to be modified or placed somewhere other than the drawstring. most likely will not "pull" over them. Although my bike doesn't have a cage for a bottle holder, I wore a jersey which, with its storage pockets, turned out to be even better for taking a bottle with me. Another feedback is that I would like the bottom to be rigid with a gusset or something, nothing permanent as I like that it folds up and is flexible. Just something to keep the floor rigid where it goes into the rack. However, I am very happy with it. It folds up for easy hiding, roomy, and weighs very little, which was important to me (you'll be surprised how heavy some of these bags can be).
