So I bought this for my white cockatiel. She was with her for about 3 weeks. The toy is still in good condition. The problem is that over the past few weeks I've noticed that my bird has discoloration around the beak, both on the beak and on the feathers around the beak. It's a dark discoloration and I couldn't figure out what it was. Then I remembered the toy and other reviews I had seen before buying it. I did the research by pulling out a few strands of the toy, pouring some water in and wiping the strands with a tissue. The color immediately began to fade. Not cool! Just in case, I throw this toy away.
