The puppy is quite happy having stair treads! I don’t have to worry about her sprinting and tumbling to the bottom. The tape is tricky but it appears to be strong enough to hold. However, it tears very easily if you put it down and pull it back up to straighten. First couple times I did that but then I got the hang of it. I’m very nervous as to what it will leave behind when I remove it someday but I’ll deal with that later. Until then, they look great and serves the purpose I needed it for.Update- I’ve had them installed On my hardwood stairs for about 4 months and replaced two already because the tape wore off. The tape is horrible! It does not come off, my fingers are raw trying to peel the shreds. I am using goo be gone too. Please do not use their tape I wish I had listened to all the reviews. I bought carpet tape for $6 as a replacement.
