Great little device with one flaw

Overall this is a great little device that heats up nicely. The thermostat is off maybe 10 degrees, but it's getting the temperature I need in my bedroom. But in my opinion there is a major design flaw. There are 4 settings here. Low heat, high heat, low fan, high fan. The low fan is so quiet I don't know how to make it so quiet. But I like it. But with a high fan, you DEFINITELY hear the performance. Don't say it's bad. Just pointing out the difference. But the thing is that both low and high heat uses a small fan, and there is no way to turn on a powerful fan when heated (as far as I know). But here's the problem. When the thermostat kicks in and the unit turns on, the very first thing that turns on is the high-efficiency fan! Just a lot louder than a quiet fan. But that's only for about 5 seconds before going straight to the low fan everywhere. But why the heck does it always start up with a loud fan for 5 seconds, god knows. It can make it difficult to fall asleep or stay asleep. Because everything is still and quiet, and then suddenly boom, super strong fan sound! Then silence again. Anger and distraction are sudden, temporary spurts, and I have no idea why that's necessary. If a louder fan was running all the time it wouldn't be a problem, you'd just hum along. But when it's quiet and it's just a 5 second flash, like every 10 minutes, it gets a little annoying. Anyway, that's why I deducted a star. But please note that while I'm honest, a complaint is not enough to return it. Because other than that it just seems like a really well built, solid and pretty efficient device!
