Cheap fakes, but they work.

It's all about "cheap Chinese copies" but the blades are sharp and stay that way when clipped after each use. The blades are not of high quality and therefore require regular maintenance. Covers are cheap but easy to maintain. Gloves work well but can be a little small for those with large hands. The whetstone is useless. It's very rough so it can ruin the blades. It's probably around 120 grit and mine had a big bulge/manufacturing defect on one side. threw it away I would recommend a stone of at least 400 grit for blade repairs and 3000 grit for occasional sharpening. Basically, you should only cut for maintenance. The stones are in need of repair. The leather strap I have is small but high quality - smooth and soft. Composition for stripping or polishing is also mostly useless. It won't harm your blades, so use it if you like. I prefer only tanned leather. Make a spoon out of dark wood - maybe mahogany, some kind of walnut or something. He's also quite small. I'd say it's about the size of a teaspoon, so don't expect a nice new heirloom serving spoon for the whole family! The wood is quite hard, so for beginners it is better to take a soft linden. Photos are what I made from the blank. I used finer grit sandpaper (not included) and wax for the finishing touches. So this set is good for beginners, older kids, wood carving scouts, etc. A good gift for such people. not me

Cheap knockoffs, but they'll work.
