Review on G T Water Products Inc MP100 3 by Donald Vargas

Neat butt. Can be used

EDIT: I'm updating my review of this flask. I received a replacement as I originally received a faulty one. I immediately saw a huge difference in performance with this replacement as there were no holes/cuts in the pleats. It definitely holds a strong air seal and was able to free my toilet after a few tries. The handle was still bent on the new one, but I was able to bend it back without damaging it. There is still some air leakage through the area where you can close the button, but it's not as bad as the previous case and I don't think it affects performance too much, if at all. I'm only giving this 4 stars because the quality of the plastic isn't the best, especially when the handle bends slightly. When the handle wasn't hollow, the plastic was more durable and had a rubber ring at the bottom. It will be a 5 star product for sure. But it's a pretty decent piston, and it definitely holds strong suction. This works PERFECTLY on clogged sinks and tubs. I've had previous pistons of the exact same design and they worked great. and when I had to replace my old piston, of course I immediately went for this one. but i am so disappointed with this purchase. The entire plunger is made entirely of the cheapest hollow plastic these plastic kitchen sets and houses for kids are made of, which is easy to wrinkle. The one I had before was thick, durable plastic and rubber. There is NO rubber on this piston. The first time I tried. I noticed a lot of bubbles seeping through the folds and when checking it out. There were cracks and holes in several places. Therefore, this piston cannot hold the air seal. The bottom of the grip, where you can loosen and tighten the grip, is generally poorly sealed; Even if I tighten the crank all the way, there's still a lot of air coming out of the holes, resulting in no air seals. The handle (completely hollow) also bent to the side when I first tried to dive into the toilet. Maybe they sent me a defective device. but other design flaws make me think differently.

Pros
  • handy
Cons
  • so far so good
