Worth the Price - Sport

This product may seem a bit overpriced at first glance, but in my case I can safely say that it is worth every dollar I paid for it. The material and design looks and feels very high quality, is solid and does what it says on the tin and even does a little of what it doesn't specifically say as it helped my 11-50 cassette, almost good to work like a full Shimano setup. If you need more details, read on. I have a Shimano SLX M7000 drivetrain and bought a SunRace 11-50T cassette a few months ago because I was told it was compatible with Shimano 11 speed drivetrains and I wanted a larger gear. If possible, add a larger chainring without a large change in gear ratios. After installing the cassette and making the necessary adjustments I noticed that the clutch was too tight resulting in extra cable tension felt when shifting which was too harsh, there were also two shifts (from second lowest gear into 3rd and shifting from 7th to 8th), which caused issues that gave me a couple of less-than-ideal scenarios: - You had to pull the shifter past the shift click and hold it for a brief moment, which was difficult to pinpoint exactly timing the 7th to the 8th - I'm one shift and it's inconvenient when I'm doing multiple shifts because sometimes it causes a lot of rumble if you forget to keep it in the right position, forcing you to squirm to focus on something other than what's in the lane - if I adjust the barrel setting to bring them up when engaged with a click of the shifter, like that in should, the overall adjustment causes a lot of friction from the chain and bangs against the next gear, making it very noisy and causing wear on the inside of the sprocket and chain. Loosen the clutch to make a fine adjustment that can work with the disadvantages that come with it. After installing this product, the repositioning made everything better: the clutch adds less tension to the cable, shifting feels more relaxed, everything goes up and down in sync with the shifter, and I can use the clutch without negatively affecting the gear changes influence. the chain with the next higher gear when changing from 7th to 8th, but it's so low I don't even notice it unless I'm riding in a very quiet area with no other riders and those two shifts are slower . to bigger gears than others, but getting a high enough cadence (probably 45-60rpm, I don't use cadence sensors) with your weight on the bike can cause it to grow as fast as the others, and in those cases you'll spin pedal slowly, hold the lever directly on the click poppy, it shifts without rattling or problems. This product has improved my shifting from about 80% to 98% of how it should work compared to a full Shimano setup, I'm really happy and have better range, I highly recommend it.
