Wish I bought it sooner

Over a year ago I swapped my factory Shimano XT M8000 11-40t cassette for a Sunrace 11-46t block. At the time I didn't think I needed Goatlink and for some reason I thought I read that it wasn't necessary. Anyway, my bike rode fine most of the time with the new cassette, but I kept messing with the derailleur indexing because my bike didn't always seem to shift properly. I added this Goatlink along with a new derailleur cable and chain and adjusted the hanger. I don't know what the biggest…

No solution for 50 ton cassettes

Looking through the Wolf Tooth documentation I think this is an old solution to fitting a 50 ton cassette with an 11 speed gearbox. Unfortunately, most 11-speed solutions are no longer produced. I've tried a few of these and I can say that Garbaruk's Switch framework solution works very well. In the past, OneUp and Wolftooth also made replacement cages for 11-speed drivetrains, but they no longer do so. I've had no luck with a 10-50t cassette, many of the other reviewers have been able to get…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Empty

I'm using this with an M7000 (SLX) mid-cage shifter with an 11-46 tooth cassette. While not technically necessary (I've been using it for a year without), this link allows me to tweak the toggle "a little" better. One big difference I noticed is that I can now adjust screw B so the derailleur doesn't squeak when upshifting between teeth 40 and 46. I used to be able to do this (before installing GoatLink) but it took a lot of patience and it was so accurate that it didn't always shift cleanly…

Worth the Price - Sport

This product may seem a bit overpriced at first glance, but in my case I can safely say that it is worth every dollar I paid for it. The material and design looks and feels very high quality, is solid and does what it says on the tin and even does a little of what it doesn't specifically say as it helped my 11-50 cassette, almost good to work like a full Shimano setup. If you need more details, read on. I have a Shimano SLX M7000 drivetrain and bought a SunRace 11-50T cassette a few months ago…

Pros
  • This is Amazing
Cons
  • Unreliable

I found it unnecessary. Most Shimano RDs already fit

I purchased this product after reading about the improvements it offers when running a SRAM cassette on a Shimano drivetrain. Namely after adding a larger rear gear expander over the 42 and switching power to and from 10. I have an XTR RD and an XX1 10-42 cassette: shifts well. To be honest, SRAM cassettes never shift better than Shimano, so I was pleasantly surprised at how well they do at cross-pollination. All of this was installed with a fresh chain. I opted for a 44 tooth expansion gear as
