This unit is amazing. Love it
This is an amazing device. Love it. I would never hook a stern mount transducer to my bow again. This is a much better solution and has replaced my Garmin GT21. I installed it on a 1992 Hydra-Sports 1750 with a thick wood-filled glass body. Works great. Connected to Echomap 54DV. Interesting fact; You can literally just put the shim in the dead center of the hull as close to the transom as possible as long as there is some water there, about 2 inches, and it will work fine. Just as good as epoxidizing into the tank. You can even hold it in place with a wet towel. We recommend.
