Disappointingly, Samsung does not currently provide a high-end small camera. I voiced my displeasure with this situation in my S9 review from a year and a half ago; since then, things have only gotten worse, with the S20e being cancelled and the comparatively tiny A40 being replaced by the A41 shovel gun. In light of the S9's premature demise (the rear cover peeled off without any discernible requirements, see the previous review), I was forced to upgrade to last year's S10e (the second phone will definitely be the new small iPhone 12 - here Samsung made the choice for me, there is no other option). The S10e's flat screen is a definite plus. How handy! The curved display used to be a major selling point for televisions. Ten generations in, though, it started to show signs of weariness. Moreover, it reduces efficiency. Even OneUI-approved apps are not necessarily designed with Edge screens in mind. The defining characteristics of the curved screen, such as the sidebar and the dynamic illumination, are present and fully functional on the S10e's flat screen. The "flat" design conveys a sense of reliability. Also, the maximum brightness of the screen has been increased, which is a notable improvement. The S9 was quite bright, although it presented some challenges in some circumstances, such as while operating a quadcopter in direct sunlight. This moment, at the brightest part of the day, poses no difficulties. The AMOLED screens on Samsung devices are a standout quality. Flaws. Taken out the light emitting diode. However, this is mitigated to some degree by the presence of Always-on-Display. The indicator, however, could be seen from quite some distance, in contrast to the proximity requirements imposed by the AoD icons. Due to the elimination of the iris unlock, security has been compromised. Take note, young spy: S9 has yet to conquer fame, the real bane of law enforcement. Again, Bixby! Okay, then, to the best of my ability. His only admirers were the slothful. And now for some fresh bad luck: Bixby scripts. I coded it such that if a Bluetooth headset is attached, the notifications would be read out loud. Just hooked up the headphones, and they sound great! Surprise! You have a disability! The text was carried on. Only a complete hard reset is known to work, and support can perform only that. Simply put, don't bother. Put up barriers right away, anyplace Bixby may be.
