I bought these to upgrade the short antennas on some of my routers and music streamers with external antennas. However, all of these devices require a MALE connector with a small pin in the middle to connect to the device. Although advertised as MEN, they are not; They have a socket (no center pin). As such they have not been totally unusable on any of my devices so be careful before ordering to check whether your existing short antennas have a male center pin or not. If your current antennas have center pins, they will not work as they are not electrically connected to your devices.
