Review on ๐Ÿšด Cycling Wind Noise Reducer: AirStreamz by Evan Haynes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does what it says on the tin

In short, these handy wind deflectors do what they're supposed to, which is to significantly reduce wind noise when cycling. I road bike and usually ride between 19 and 22 mph and the difference should be 15dB if not 20dB. Unlike the other reviewer, I do NOT tighten the chin strap. I always wear glasses and they have "temporal peaks" that curve slightly into a curve. This allows me to easily attach the goggles to the front straps, and I keep the top of the AirStreamz very close to the temples of the goggles to keep them fairly close to my face. I've experimented with tightening the strap to keep the AirStreamz even closer to my face, but it's of little help as it doesn't greatly reduce wind noise and is more uncomfortable. Make sure you have Velcro. outside of your face and experiment to find the best settings for your helmet and head shape. I strongly recommend that you use glasses with temple tips that can be bent slightly to stay in this position. Mine has an aluminum frame and thin metal temple tips with rubber grips so they flex easily and stay flexed until I straighten them for helmetless use. They are worth their $16 price tag.
