Beautiful well built frying pan. It's heavy and comes with a good initial flavor. After two preparations for it, I think I'll have a lot of fun with it. It comes with a dropper holder, not a real one, so be prepared to find a glass, jar, or something suitable to collect drips and water after cleaning. Otherwise there will be a mess on the floor. This was a good alternative to buying a $300+ Blackstone or Camp Chef skillet as I already had an Explorer 2 burner. The surface area is smaller on this option but definitely big enough for my family. I don't need 800 square inches for a family of 5 with occasional guests. That's more than enough. I placed an infrared thermometer on a pan with a stove on medium to see the temperature spread across the surface of the steel. There's definitely a cool spot in the middle of the two burners after 20 minutes, but that's to be expected. I think the heat dissipation plates are important, but it's impossible to achieve perfect heat dissipation with this setup. To be honest, a cool place comes in handy when you need to move food from a higher temperature to avoid scorching. The temperature difference I observed between the middle and top of the burner was about 130-150 degrees Fahrenheit. Hope that helps! It's $99, just buy one!
