The negative about this rubber, it seems, is written by those who immediately try to anneal it from the purchase, without running in and without "shave" it. Or I expect from it on snow and ice the same grip as from good summer tires in the summer, which cannot be in principle. These tires are VERY "hairy" new. And until these technological hairs are shaved off, the car floats noticeably even with smooth changeovers. Therefore, for these tires, the initial run-in is STRICTLY MANDATORY - no more than 70-80 km / h, smooth braking and maneuvering, no turns at high speeds. My tires "shaved" after about 600-700 km, and after that an EXCELLENT grip appeared. I flew to St. Petersburg on a nightly paysite - after the completion of the break-in and "shaving" these tires hold the road perfectly even at 170-180 km / h (taking into account permanent all-wheel drive). In terms of wear resistance - it will be possible to judge only by the end of winter. The previous 3rd version had a noticeable loss of studs starting in the 2nd season (when driving vigorously). But there the spikes were aluminum, on versions 2-3 they broke off more often than pulled out. Here the spikes are already steel, created on the basis of combat, rally ones - they should be stronger and go longer. There were reviews about crooked or not fully inserted spikes - I carefully checked the tires when buying - I did not find a single one for all 4 tires.
