Update from 04/17/20 the hub is defective and does not recognize external hard drives. The only function is for USB mouse. Contacted seller and was sent to Raycue support for a replacement. I'll let you know after careful consideration. I recommend this product after reviewing all USB-C hubs in the $10-$25 price range. This featured an aluminum body instead of plastic. This helps reduce material warping due to potential excessive heat from USB-C and the stress you are applying. I gave up HDMI as the ones I've read tend to have issues, so personally I need USB 3.0 and an SD card reader - it's just a nice touch. It's space gray with an aluminum body to match your space gray Macbook Pro. I would suggest adding a thin layer of padding as there is a slight gap due to the buttons on the bottom of the Macbook Pro (I used the soft side of the Velcro). Do not glue rubber material as moving the laptop can disable or damage the USB ports.
