Quality needles at a reasonable price! Multicolored!

At $12 this is a steal. You can get them in probably 10 different colors - many of them aren't what most people use in their guns, but they're different for everyone. It was awesome to find ODG pins for under $30! What was really fantastic was the quality. All of those cheap pins (3 sets for $18) with a single groove in the center that I've seen are a lot more hollow than they should be. They are drilled to the midline. They are also made of cheap metal, poorly hardened. That means they will always break. Maybe sooner, maybe later, but they will come upon you. On the other hand, these pins are not drilled to the center line. They are heavier pins because they are only drilled to accommodate the screws. They are made of stainless steel, unlike the others which have a black and brown tint. These pins also have a groove on the side where they need to be to hook the springs. I really can't understand why cheap ones are made the way they are. Common sense tells us that high quality stainless steel pins that are solid for at least half their length will work more or less properly and will likely function optimally for many years, not the life of your gun. On the other hand, pins machined (or possibly cast) from inferior metal of unknown origin and almost entirely hollow are likely to fail within a fairly short time. as long as you can determine the quality. I personally think $25-$40 is way too much for a set of pins. Unless your gun has fired tens of thousands of rounds and the holes are narrow, regular pins will probably do the trick. If you want to get your gear in order, I understand the impulse. Just don't use the cheapest (lowest quality) parts you can find. Instead, find the highest quality products at the lowest price. If $12 eats up your build, stick with regular pens until you can afford something better.
