Perfect for My Antique Wash Stand

The door on the antique oak wash stand that I use as a night table would never stay closed, so I needed a magnetic catch to keep it from swinging open with the slightest floor vibration. The bronze finish on this stand allows it to blend in with the color of the wood and the weathered drawer and door pulls and the magnet is just strong enough to hold the door shut without making it too difficult to open.It's the perfect combination of design and functionality for my needs.

Installing was okay but not easy. The magnet is not very strong, I had used some brown plastic catches which were stronger and made a secure click when you closed the closet door for a better price. This catch would be better for a cabinet door. The company makes some very strong catches and the material it is made out of will last much longer than plastic.
