I didn't look at the ad and assumed it was the real Chronodot, sold by Adafruit and other companies. In fact, it is marked as "Chronodor". This is clearly stated in the ad, so I don't think there was an attempt to mislead. It shares the same parts as the Chronodot and appears to work as advertised, but I haven't had a chance to evaluate long-term stability and accuracy. Another thing is that this product uses a CR1220 battery, not the CR1632 battery that was used in the original. Overall not a bad purchase and the service was quick.
